Claremont McKenna College broke ground on the new Robert Day Sciences Center on Friday, September 30. Named in honor of Robert Day, the chairman of the W. M. Keck Foundation, this cutting edge facility was funded in part by a $40-million gift from the Foundation. The Center will be the home of CMC’s Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences and will serve 1,400 students. Construction of the building is due to be completed in 2024.
